I'd like to get a stock 2g radio with amp that goes under pass. seat. If someone has it laying around. If you've upgraded you might have this laying around. I'd like to spend around $40 for it if someone is willing to sell it for that much.
If I'm going to spend more than that, I'll just go after market but the stock one fits nicely.
I have a nice Kenwood in there now, it's nice but I'd rather have something that someone wouldn't want to steal and I could use a tape adapter with. Actually, I don't even know what a stock 2g radio looks like or has.

Decided I do not need nitrous to spool this turbo so I am getting rid of it all. The nitrous kit has never been used only taken out of the box and completely wired into my car. Bought the kit 3 years ago and installed last Sept.

Nitrous Express Direct Port Nitrous System w/Piranha Nozzles

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/NEX-80004EFI-10/

Comes with everything including an extra package of jets, nitrous fittings and a few fuel fittings I needed to use to hook it into the system. You can see it is all wired up now also and should be even easier to hook right into a system since I've done most of the wiring. I'll include my Autometer Nitrous gauge in this also.

Nitrous Express GenX 2 kit

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/NEX-GENX-2/

You need this kit also for several reasons, but most important is being NHRA legal at the track. This has all the extra safety stuff you want to give you piece of mind when running nitrous. Comes with the Iceman Purge valve too.

* Fully automatic bottle heater with pressure transducer
* Fuel pressure safety switch
* Liquid-filled N2O pressure gauge
* NHRA-approved pressure release fitting
* NHRA-approved blow down tube
* Purge valve for the NX Iceman solenoid

Magnus Intake Manifold

This is 4 years old and really only been idled on my car. Originally got it with a mustang TB flange, but after having horrible issues with boost leaks I made the change to the Q45. Got a flange for one and had it welded on. Throwing this on here because it has the nozzles still on it. Figured maybe someone would be interested in this with the nitrous. Has a Q45 throttle body on it that I can include for an extra $100.

$650 for the NX Piranha Direct Port kit
$350 for the GenX2 kit
$550 for the Magnus w/Q45 TB ($450 without)

$900 for ALL the NX stuff
$1300 for EVERYTHING

I'll take reasonable offers too.

Thanks!

I am a member of CODSM who broke down in Terre Haute back in July. My engine was rebuilt by a guy in Denver who unfortunately is a crappy business person and did not dial this in. Any local CODSM know who I mean w/o saying the name D#*. :D

When I overheated on that saturday, I got towed by a local who recommended the shop next door. While they supposedly have a good rep, they have not cracked open my engine in 8 weeks.

Question - Does anyone know a DSM'r in the Terre Haute/Indy area - either a car owner or shop who can/will offer support to help me get this repair done either by being a local contact for me and/or recommending a shop that I can move the car to? I think somebody showing up local and saying "hey my buddy asked me to check in on his car" would help.

Chances are good that the head gasket lifted due to not having the head bolts retightened and further damage may exist in top or bottom. I need a compression test and the pan pulled to assess and decide.

Anybody with solid leads for repair or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Yesterday I noticed that the radiator fans in my 91 TSi (stock) were acting a bit weird. I had the AC on, both fans were running but not at full speed. Engine was warm enough that the gauge read just above halfway. I turned off the AC and both fans turned off. The gauge climbed nearly halfway between half and high mark. THEN the fan turned on. I flipped on the AC, both fans ran at high speed for just a few seconds and then went back to low speed. Gauge was still over half. No fan when I turned off the AC, until the temp climbed higher.

So it seems the temp sensor that controls the fan is not working properly. There is one on the bottom of the rad, and a couple on the t-stat housing. I'm not sure which one controls the fan, though. Does anyone know what sensor(s) controls the fan? It's name and/or location?

I suppose it could be the sensor that controls the gauge (gauge reading wrong), but I have a feeling it's the fan's sensor instead.

I'm needing a fuel pump like yesterday.

I installed a lightly used Supra pump in my 2g a couple months back and apparently it doesn't like E85 too well.

I'm not willing to sink money into another Supra pump unless the price makes it COMPLETELY worth it.

I need a GSS342 pump to replace this dead one and need it asap.

New would be best, but used (lightly) is acceptable.

I will also need the lower rubber insulator and wiring for a 2g to come along with it.

If I don't find one here within a week, I'll be ordering a new one.

I'm out of Aurora, but will either pick up or have shipped depending on distance.
